Following your instincts and making bold moves.

In the summer of 2017, Cardiff played host to the Champions League Final for the very first time. This was a big event for my home town and although I was living in London at the time, I decided to come back and voluenteer for both the Men's and Women's Final. Like most proud Cardiffians I wanted the world football showcase to be the best event it could be.

Working in media relations, I got to see how such a big event is staged and a small peek behind the curtain into the inner workings of UEFA.

After the excitement of the finals and having worked solidly on Star Wars for two years. I decided it was time for a change of scene and to embrace my other passion and go and work full time in Football.

This brought the dilemma of which club to join. I was quickly reminded of my very first ever class school photo. As a passionate Cardiff City supporter, I was surprised to see standing on the back row, a 5 year old me in a Liverpool kit.

So Liverpool it was and at the start of the season, I relocated to the home of the Beatles to join LFC. A season of Mo Salah wonder goals followed, as the club progressed through the Champions League, knocking out Manchester City and Roma to make it to the Final.

I've always been a believer in following your instincts. Making bold moves has taken me to my second Champions League final in a row. First as a volunteer and second as part of a club.

With Cardiff City returning to the Premier League, I've decided to return to the motherland and my freelance roots.
